Our Story
Tauriko Sawmill was founded by the Moores family over 30 years ago, and is still a family run business. The Moores were born and raised in the Bay of Plenty, and have over 5 generations of experience in the timber industry in New Zealand. They originally saw a need in the area for exotic and different timbers in the early 90’s. Since then, the Sawmill has grown to be an extremely well respected place to source any type of exotic, native, or imported timber in Tauranga.
